I graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Classical Guitar performance (I trained classically since three years old). I initially went for a double major for that and Physics but dropped that after two years. I took up to Group Theory/Modern Algebra in my math studies, and up to elementary Quantum Physics before I stuck to my music major. What I chase in teaching is to elicit a “wow” moment in students—the fundamental step to learning and retaining information. I’ve been tutoring full-time since 2019. I worked at a large tutoring firm for some years before I realized a large model tutoring school leads to inefficiency, frustration, and, often times, empty promises. I don’t teach high volume, I try to give quality learning to quality students. My fundamental goal with all students is to look at the longer trajectory and maximize that outlook.
